FM GRU Tower Cranes were established during the year 1920. This family run business, FMgru, is found in the largest industrial location in northern Italy. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in building bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, various types of presses, forklifts, farming machines and prefabrication molds.
In 1963, the business started crane production. The business eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the area of lifting.
