Articulating Booms - Bi-Energy and Electric

The Bi-Energy and Genie DC machines made by Terex provide quiet and emission-free operation in the most sensitive work applications. For example, in industrial environments where the machine must travel significant distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the advantages and flexibility of a diesel fueled generator using a 48 Volt DC machinery.



Several of the important features provided by this combination consist of out, up and over positioning capabilities for complete flexibility. In addition, the zero tail-swing offered by most models, combined with the tight turning radius provides easy maneuvering through standard doors and narrow aisles.



Proportional lift controls and drive controls also offer smooth drive performance and precise boom positioning. The 48V DC electric drive system offers emission free and quiet operation suitable for sensitive environments. There are jib boom models on the market to function with an additional working range for specific tasks. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform that rotates ninety degrees to either side.



Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine

The Terex Genie is ideal for industrial applications and outdoor construction applications. This model provides engine-powered articulating Z booms which combine extreme lifting versatility and up, out and over positioning capabilities. The outreach offered by this particular model is second to none in the market.



Diesel engine equipment on most modes have an articulating boom which offers zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These machinery are ideal in narrow or small locations. Moreover, they provide exceptional torque, grade and terrain maneuverability and supreme power. The diesel engines are quiet overall also. Nearly all models have full time drive positive drive traction system and active oscillating axle to offer great flexibility on surfaces that are uneven and rough.



The 4 or 2 wheel drive models, provide high ground clearance and the rough terrain features which make these desirable to add to any fleet. The jib boom kinds are available and offer added range capabilities. On non-jib types, the self-leveling platform also rotates to 90 degrees on these models too.
